Shaolin Temple Martial Arts and Cultural Centre has been awarded a grant from National Lottery and is offering fully funded self-defence classes to help empower women and girls 11+ and equip them with essential fighting skills and physical conditioning based activities to stand up against violence towards women and girls and gain confidence and awareness.

Classes will be held outdoors/studio in small numbers or at your location/organisation if you can provide a hall, we would need a big space to keep the social distancing and cater for as many participants as possible in the Enfield borough.

The project aims to help our communities women and girls feel strong and safe whilst learning self-defence skills, we will be looking to take on candidates 18+ years of age and train them as part of our team to help train more female martial arts coaches and assist in our upcoming programmes.

Activities will start on the 3rd of July and all participants will get 1 hour a week up to 8 months of training.
