Sports Club Accreditation

Club Accreditation

Active Enfield offers local sports clubs two stages of accreditation. The first of these is the Active Enfield Mark and the second is the nationally recognised award Clubmark.

The Active Enfield Mark is a way for sports clubs to express a commitment to developing and sustaining their club and is the first step towards attaining Clubmark accreditation. They both focus on five key areas:

  • the playing programme
  • duty of care and safeguarding and protecting children
  • knowing your club and its community
  • club management
  • good practice and volunteering
