Dust off your spandex, capes and masks and get ready to march round the borough because the Enfield Night Hike 2017 is fast approaching and this year’s theme is superheroes.
This year’s 15 kilometre walk takes place on Friday 12 May and Active Enfield is helping organising the event to raise money for the Nightingale Cancer Support Centre.
Entry to the event costs £15 and residents can register at www.nightingalesupport.org.uk or by calling 0208 366 9674.
Each year around 600 people take part and over the years have raised a whopping great £60,000 for the charity.
Enfield Council’s Cabinet Member for Community Safety & Public Health, Cllr Krystle Fonyonga, said: “The Enfield Night Hike is a really popular annual event and is enormous fun to take part in.
“We’re on the hunt for superheroes who want to take part in this great Enfield institution and raise some money for a brilliant cause.”
The Night Hike is delivered as part of our Move More Campaign, designed to encourage everyone in Enfield to be more active.
